Reports shows how hiring is going across your jobs. Admins and recruiters see every job; hiring managers see the jobs they own or help hire for. Viewers don't see reports.
Choosing what to see
At the top, choose a period: the last 30 or 90 days, the last 12 months, or Choose dates. Narrow it to one job, department, location or country. Your choices stay in the address, so you can bookmark a report or send the link to a colleague who can see the same jobs.
A report counts everyone who applied in the period. A candidate who applied in March and was hired in May counts in March.
What the report shows
- Tiles: applications, those still in progress, hires, the median time to hire, job views and apply starts.
- Applications over time: by day, week or month.
- Funnel: how many candidates reached each step, from applied through screening, interview and offer to hired, and how many went on from the step before. A candidate moved straight from New to Interview counts at Screening too.
- Time in stage: the median and average days candidates spent in each kind of stage before moving on.
- Sources and channels: for each source, such as your career pages, your website, LinkedIn or a newsletter: views, apply starts, applications, the apply rate, interviews and hires.
- By job: views, applications, interviews, hires and the median time to hire for each job.
- Why candidates were rejected: the reasons chosen when rejecting.
How the numbers stay right
The funnel and time in stage come from what happened at the time, by kind of stage. Renaming a stage, or removing one later, doesn't change last season's numbers. Candidates whose data was erased still count, without anything about them.
Views and apply starts
Your hosted career pages and the Careers SDK's apply form count a view when someone opens a job and an apply start when they begin the form. They use no cookies and store nothing about the visitor, only a number per job, day and channel. Search engines and other robots aren't counted.
To tell channels apart, add utm_source to the links you share, such as https://northwilds.com/careers/mountain-guide/?utm_source=newsletter. The same name then shows for views and applications.
Exporting
Each section has a CSV button for people allowed to export reports. The file opens in Excel or Numbers. Every export is recorded in the audit trail with the period and filters.
