The hiring team
Choose who owns a job and who helps hire for it, and what hiring managers on the team may do.
How-to guide1 min read
Each job has an owner and a hiring team. Set them on the job's Hiring team tab.
- Owner: the person who runs hiring for the job. Whoever creates a job owns it at first.
- Hiring team: colleagues who help choose, such as the team lead in the Berlin shop.
Only people with Careers Orbit in Orbit can be on the team. An owner or admin gives it to colleagues in Orbit.
What the team sees
Admins and recruiters see every job and its candidates. Hiring managers and viewers only see the candidates of jobs they own or are on the team for.
Turn on Hiring managers act to let hiring managers on this team move and reject candidates and email them. Without it, they can read, rate and leave notes.
Notifications
The owner and the hiring team hear about every new application in Orbit's bell, and by email if they want. Each person chooses under Your notifications.
People you add to the team, or make the owner, get a notification in Orbit with a link to the job's hiring room.
