- What Booking Orbit isBooking Orbit lets customers book appointments with your people at every location, in person or online, with reminders, payments and calendars that stay in step.
- LocationsA location is a place or an online desk of its own, with its own services, staff, opening hours, customers, booking page and payments. Add, change, bin and restore them.
- TodayThe first screen of every location shows who is booked today, what needs you, and how the location is doing.
- People and the locations they can openChoose each person's role in Booking Orbit, and whether they can open every location or only some.
- ReportsUtilisation, no-shows, cancellations, revenue, how far ahead people book and how many come back, over 7, 30 or 90 days.
- The booking assistantFind a time, move or cancel an appointment by typing what you want, on the Today page and on the booking page.
- No-show riskHow Booking Orbit spots appointments that are likely to be missed, why it says so, and what you can do about it.
Connect
Take bookings
- The booking pageEvery location has its own booking page where customers pick a service, a person and a time, in their own language and time zone. Share it, put it on your website and choose what it asks.
- The waitlistWhen no time suits, customers can wait for one to free up. The first in line is offered it by email and the time is held for them.
- Forms with questions before the appointmentAsk customers questions when they book, such as a shoe size or climbing experience, with consent that keeps its wording and answers that stay private.
- CustomersEveryone who books has one record per location with their visits, notes and tags. Merge duplicates, export a customer's data and erase them for good.
Set up
- ServicesA service is something customers can book, such as a boot fitting or a ski service. Set its length, the free time around it, its price, who takes it and what it needs.
- StaffStaff are the people customers book. Give them a photo, their services, their own working hours and time off.
- ResourcesRooms and equipment that a service needs, so two bookings never share the fitting room or the ski service bench.
- AvailabilityHow Booking Orbit works out free times from opening hours, staff hours, time off, bookings, resources and your booking rules, also when the clocks change.
Money and messages
- Payments, deposits and no-show feesTake deposits, full prepayment, saved cards for no-show fees and packages of sessions through the location's own Stripe account, with refunds that follow your cancellation rules.
- Confirmations and remindersSend confirmations, reminders, thank you notes and nudges to book again by email, text message and WhatsApp, with quiet hours, opt-outs and your own wording.
- Calendars and meeting linksConnect each person's Google or Microsoft 365 calendar so busy times block bookings and appointments appear in their calendar, and get Google Meet, Teams or Zoom links for online services.
