Keep product pages reviewed
Review-by dates make sure someone checks a page's claims are still right, with reminders before the date.
How-to guide1 min read
Content types such as product and safety pages can ask for a review date. Set it in Schema › Content types, on the type's Approval step, under Review by: every 3, 6, 12, 18 or 24 months.
Review dates are part of the Growth and Enterprise plans. On Starter they show a lock with the plan that includes them, and an owner can upgrade under Billing in Orbit.
How it works
- A page gets its date when it first goes live, owned by the person who created it.
- The owner is told in the CMS and in Orbit a month before the date, and again when it passes.
- Publishing › Reviews › Review dates lists every page due within a month or overdue.
On a page
The page's settings show a Review by card with the date, the owner and whether it is up to date, due soon or overdue.
- Mark reviewed sets the next date a full period from today.
- Change sets another date or owner, or removes the date.
Each change is recorded in the audit trail.
