Let an AI assistant draft content
Connect an assistant such as Claude so it can draft, edit and check content for you, and tidy up its own drafts. Nothing it does goes live without a person.
How-to guide2 min read
An AI assistant can work in the CMS the way an editor does: find and read pages, write drafts, improve SEO text, copy pages to other regions, upload images and comment. It acts for you, within your rights, and never more than the agent's limits.
What it can never do
Publish, unpublish, schedule, delete other people's work, change prices or promotions, manage people, roles, settings or schemas, or read the audit trail. These tools do not exist for it, and the permission checks block them too.
Tidying up after itself
An assistant can move its own drafts and uploads to the bin, for example a test page or an image it no longer needs. This only works for things it created through the same connection, and only when:
- the page has never been published, is not in review, approved or in a release, and nobody else has changed it since
- the image is not used on any page, in a draft, live, in the bin or in an earlier version, and nobody else has changed it
You must be allowed to delete pages or files yourself. Anything discarded goes to Bin, exactly as if you had deleted it, so you can restore it from there for as long as the space keeps its bin. The audit trail names the agent and you. See Restore something deleted.
Switch it on
Open Configuration › AI agents. An Administrator switches agents on for the organisation and the space, and decides whether they may work in Production. Staging is the default.
Connect your assistant
Sign in from your assistant the way you sign in to Bifröst Orbit, or create a personal key on the same screen. You can limit a key to some regions and revoke it at any time.
Your plan sets how many AI agent connections the organisation can have at once, counting active keys and sign-ins: 2 on Starter, 10 on Growth and no limit on Enterprise. When they are all in use, revoke one or ask an owner to upgrade under Billing in Orbit.
Reviewing its work
Everything an agent changes is marked Drafted by AI and needs a person's approval before it can be published. Agents finish by sending their drafts for review with a note; the review says which agent sent it.
For banners, popups, landing pages and shop products, an agent can only change the wording, never schedules, targeting, prices or codes.
