Plans and the trial
What each Commerce Orbit plan costs and includes, how the 14-day trial works, and what happens when it ends or when you have more products than your plan allows.

Commerce Orbit is paid per organisation, with a public price for every plan, and one plan covers all your shops. Owners and admins choose a plan under Billing in Orbit. Payments from your shoppers go straight to your own Stripe account, so there is no fee per order.
What the plans include
Prices are per month. Paying yearly costs the price in brackets per month.
| Plan | Price | Shops | Products per shop | Stock locations per shop | Members |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | €39 (€33) | 1 | 250 | 2 | 5 |
| Growth | €149 (€124) | 3 | 5,000 | 10 | 20 |
| Enterprise | From €590 | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Draft and active products count. Archived products and products in the bin don't, so you can keep last season's range, such as the Ridge 2 tent, without paying for it.
Starter has everything to sell to consumers: products and collections, the hosted shop, card payments through your own Stripe account, discount codes, shipping and VAT, emails to customers, the Storefront API and CMS Orbit's product blocks.
Growth adds:
- B2B companies, price lists and orders on invoice
- the ERP connection with MAM Software
- several currencies, each with its own prices
- abandoned cart emails
- gift cards, sold as a product or issued by hand
- automatic offers, which apply without a code, such as buy 2 boots and get socks free
Enterprise adds shorter sync intervals with your ERP.
A feature outside your plan still has its place in Commerce Orbit, with a note saying which plan has it. Moving to a smaller plan deletes nothing: companies, price lists and the MAM settings are kept and come back when you upgrade. Gift cards already sold or issued can still be spent, and automatic offers stay in the list but stop applying at checkout until you upgrade.
The trial
Owners and admins start a 14-day trial of Starter or Growth from Orbit's setup or under Billing, without a card. The trial has the features of the plan you try. Three days before it ends, Commerce Orbit shows the end date at the top of every page.
When a trial or plan ends
If no plan is chosen by the day the trial ends, or a cancelled plan reaches the end of its period, Commerce Orbit pauses:
- Your shop shows a short "temporarily unavailable" page instead of your products, and the storefront API, GraphQL and checkout answer
402with the codesubscription_inactive. Product fields on your CMS Orbit pages can't get products either. - MAM syncs and orders waiting to go to MAM wait. Straight after a plan is chosen, each order goes to MAM once, in the order it was placed, and its history says Sent to MAM after the plan was restored. Syncs that came due run once, and the audit trail says Synced with MAM after the plan was restored. Abandoned cart emails are not sent, then or later.
- Products, collections, discounts and settings can't change.
- Your team can still sign in, read everything, send, refund and cancel orders already placed, and look after customers and companies. Sending an order to MAM again by hand waits for a plan. A card payment that was under way when the trial ended still becomes an order.
- A notice at the top says Commerce Orbit is paused. Owners and admins get a button to Billing in Orbit; everyone else is asked to talk to an owner.
Nothing is deleted. Choose a plan and your shop is back within a minute.
More products than the plan allows
After a move to a smaller plan, Commerce Orbit says how many products are over the limit. Adding, duplicating or restoring a product, or importing parts from MAM, then tells you to make room first: archive products you don't sell, or move them to the bin.
