Orbit connections

Open Orbit connections under Brand in the sidebar. Connections are per brand. It has one card for each of Orbit's other satellites.

What the badges mean

Every card has one of these badges, the same in every satellite:

• Working: the connection is on, or needs nothing from you. The card lists what flows each way and where to change it.
• Ready to set up: the connection is set up on this page or one click away. The card has the button or switch for it.
• Set up in another satellite: the switch lives in the other satellite, and this one can't see whether it is on. Open takes you to the exact page.
• Nothing to connect yet: the two satellites don't share anything yet. The card says what to do instead, where there is something.
• Not in your organisation: your organisation doesn't have that satellite. Add it in Orbit opens your organisation's Billing in Orbit, where an owner can start a free trial.

The line at the top counts them, such as "2 working · 1 ready to set up", and the cards are sorted the same way. Each card lists what comes From the other satellite, what goes Into it, and what works Both ways.

Orbit connections are only links between Orbit's own satellites. Outside services, such as Stripe, MAM, Sendcloud, Twilio, review sites or your own website, are set up elsewhere in each satellite.

CMS Orbit

The card lists your Website spaces with a switch each. Switch on a space, such as the Northwilds website, to let its editors put your trips on pages with prices and places left that stay current. Only Admins can switch a space, and only one they may change in CMS Orbit. The switches stay off until a booking address is set under Booking settings. See Show your trips on your website.

Presence Orbit

Presence Orbit can ask travellers for a review after their trip ends. It is switched on in Presence Orbit, so the card opens that page. Once the trip has ended, Presence Orbit fetches the lead traveller's name and email address for that one booking, and cancelled bookings are never asked. See Ask for reviews after trips and orders.

Careers Orbit and Commerce Orbit

A sending domain set up in Careers Orbit, Commerce Orbit, Presence Orbit or Travel Orbit sends email from all of them, so these cards always say Working. See Your own sending domain.

Insights Orbit

Bookings aren't offered to Insights Orbit as events yet. To count visits to your own booking website, add the Insights Orbit script to it.
