The audit trail

See who changed trips, departures, bookings, payments, codes, the library, settings, Stripe, keys and roles, and when.

The audit trail lists the changes your team makes in Travel Orbit, newest first and grouped by day: who did it, what changed and when. Times are in UTC. Only Admins see it, under Audit trail in the sidebar's Organisation section. It covers every brand: when your organisation has more than one, filter by Brand, and each change says which brand it was in. Adding, binning and deleting brands, and changes to people's roles and brands, belong to the organisation and show with no brand.

What is recorded

  • Trips: added, changed, published, unpublished, archived, duplicated, moved to the bin and restored
  • Departures: added, changed, cancelled, moved to the bin, and marked as guaranteed to run
  • Bookings: added by your team, confirmed, cancelled (with the refund, if any) and assigned
  • Payments: recorded by hand, with the amount and method, and refunds
  • Discount codes, guides and places to stay: added, changed, moved to the bin and restored
  • Media: images uploaded, changed, moved to the bin, restored and deleted for good, and folders added and removed
  • Booking settings: every save, including kinds of day and meals added from an itinerary, and translations
  • Stripe: connecting and disconnecting
  • AI writing, AI assistants and API keys: settings changed, assistants connected and disconnected, and keys created, renamed, revoked and removed
  • Roles: changes to people's roles in Travel Orbit

Some entries have a line of detail under them, such as the amount of a refund.

What is not

Reading bookings and reports is not recorded. Bookings that travellers make themselves, payments through Stripe and changes travellers make in the portal show in each booking's history instead. Open the booking to see it.

Find a change

  • What changed: show one kind of change, such as Payments or Booking settings.
  • Who: show the changes one person made.

The trail shows the latest 100 changes. Show older changes loads 100 more.

Changes an AI assistant makes show the person who connected it and the assistant, such as "Ingrid Berg via Claude".
