Today
The first screen of every location shows who is booked today, what needs you, and how the location is doing.
Explanation2 min read
Today is the first screen of each location. It answers three questions in one place: who is coming in today, what is waiting for someone on the team, and whether the location is getting busier.
The top of the page
The heading greets you, names the location and says how today looks, such as "Five appointments today, next at 11:30, Ingrid Solberg for a boot fitting. One booking waits for you to confirm." Under it is the booking assistant: type a request in your own words and it finds the best times.
The numbers
| Number | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Today | Appointments booked for today, with the last two weeks as a small line. |
| Next 7 days | Appointments in the coming week, against the week just gone. |
| Utilisation | How much of the bookable people's working hours was booked over the last 30 days. |
| No-shows | The share of past appointments in the last 30 days that nobody came to. Lower is better. |
| Revenue, 30 days | The price of the appointments held in the last 30 days. |
Each number shows the change against the 30 days before. Select a number to open Reports.
Today's appointments
Appointments are grouped by the person taking them, in time order, and the one happening now is highlighted. Editors and admins can:
- Check in a customer who has arrived.
- Mark a past appointment as Done or as a No-show. Done appointments count as a visit for the customer and can trigger a review request in Presence Orbit; no-shows count towards the customer's history.
A Some risk or High risk badge means the appointment looks likely to be missed. Select it to see why, and to send an extra reminder. Read more in No-show risk.
Needs you
Bookings waiting for you to confirm, appointments that ended without being marked as done or as a no-show, and people on the waitlist.
The charts
- Bookings made: how many bookings came in each day of the last 30, against the 30 before. It counts the day a booking was made, not the day of the appointment.
- Top services: the services booked most in the last 30 days, with their revenue.
- Recent activity: bookings, moves, cancellations, visits and no-shows from the last week.
- Busy hours: when appointments start, by day of the week and hour, over the last eight weeks, so you can plan who works when.
Before the first booking
Until a location has a service and someone to take it, Today shows the steps to get ready instead: add services, add the people who take them, check the opening hours and share the booking page.
