What Booking Orbit is
Booking Orbit lets customers book appointments with your people at every location, in person or online, with reminders, payments and calendars that stay in step.
Explanation1 min read
Booking Orbit is for appointments: a time with a person, a room or both, from a quarter of an hour to a few hours. Northwilds uses it for boot fitting and ski service in its Oslo and Bergen shops, private climbing lessons, and video calls with a trip adviser before a big trip.
How it is organised
Each location is a place or an online desk of its own, with its services, staff, opening hours, customers, booking page, reminders and Stripe account. An organisation can have several, and nothing is shared between them. Read more in Locations.
People, roles, billing and the sending domain for emails belong to the organisation. Admins choose which locations each person can open, under People.
Where Booking Orbit fits
Travel Orbit is for trips with dates and places for groups. Booking Orbit is for appointments with a person or a resource. The two, and the other Orbit satellites, connect under Orbit connections.
