Organisation settings

Open your organisation and choose Settings.

Name

The name shows across Bifröst Orbit and its satellites. Change it and choose Save changes.

Logo

Choose Upload under Logo, or drop a file on the circle, and pick a PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG file of up to 1 MB. The logo is shown in a circle, so you frame a PNG, JPEG or WebP first: drag to move it and zoom until it sits well, then choose Use this. An SVG is used as it is. It is saved straight away, with no need to press Save changes. Change swaps it and Remove takes it away.

Satellites such as CMS Orbit show the logo next to your organisation's name. They pick up a new logo within a minute.

Address

The address, such as acme-outdoors, is used in links and by satellites. It is set when the organisation is created and cannot be changed.

Suspending

Only platform admins can suspend an organisation. While suspended, its members cannot sign in to it or use its satellites, and its regions disappear from the picker. Nothing is deleted, and making it active again restores everything.

Deleting for good

Owners can delete their organisation, and platform admins any organisation. Under Delete organisation, choose Delete organisation, then Email me a code. Enter the six-digit code from the email and choose Delete for good.

Deleting erases every space, page, file and setting the organisation has in CMS Orbit, removes everyone from it and deletes it from Bifröst Orbit. People keep their accounts and any other organisations they belong to. It cannot be undone, so suspend it instead if you may need it again.

When you have paid time left

If a satellite's plan is paid beyond today, you choose when the organisation is deleted:

• Delete on the date the paid period ends (the default). Everything keeps working until then, and plans stop renewing, so you are not charged again. Orbit shows the date in a banner, and you can choose Keep any time before it to call the deletion off and turn renewal back on. On the date, the organisation is deleted as described above.
• Delete now. Everything is erased straight away. Tick the box to confirm that the time left is not refunded.

While an organisation waits to be deleted, its plans cannot be changed and no new trial can be started. Invoices and card details stay available under Billing. Time in a free trial does not count as paid, so an organisation that is only trying satellites is deleted straight away.

An organisation that others are linked to cannot be deleted until those are deleted first, since they sign in through it.
