# The bin

> Restore trips, guides, places to stay, email templates and images moved to the bin, and what only owners can delete for good.

Source: https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/travel/everyone/bin/

Nothing your team removes in Travel Orbit is gone straight away. Trips, guides, places to stay, your own email templates and images go to the brand's **Bin**, under **Brand** in the sidebar, where you can bring them back. Each brand has its own bin. Whole brands go to the organisation's Bin, on the Brands page; see [Brands](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/travel/everyone/brands/). Everyone can look in the bin; Editors and Admins can restore, and only Admins can restore email templates.

## What goes in the bin

- **Trips:** **Move to bin** in a trip's **More actions** menu. A trip with bookings can't go in the bin. Archive it instead, so the bookings keep their trip. See [Create a trip](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/travel/everyone/create-a-trip/).
- **Guides and places to stay:** **Move to bin** in their dialog. A guide who leads a trip has to be taken off it first, and a place used in an itinerary has to be taken out of it first. See [Guides and places to stay](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/travel/everyone/guides-and-places/).
- **Email templates:** **Move to bin** on one of your own templates under **Email templates**. Templates Travel Orbit sends itself can't go in the bin. See [Emails to travellers](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/travel/everyone/emails-to-travellers/).
- **Images:** moved to the bin from **Media**. See [Media](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/travel/everyone/media/).

The bin lists trips, guides, places to stay and email templates with when each was moved there, newest first. Images in the bin are listed below them.

## Restore

Select **Restore** next to what you want back.

- A trip comes back as a draft, with its description, prices, itinerary and departures. Publish it again when it's ready.
- A guide or place to stay goes back into the library, ready to pick on trips again.
- An email template goes back under **Email templates**, ready to pick in a conversation again.
- An image goes back into **Media**. While it's in the bin, it still shows wherever it is used.

Select a trip in the bin to open it and read it before you restore it.

## Delete an image for good

Only owners of your organisation in Orbit can delete an image for good. Select **Delete for good** next to the image in the bin and confirm. This removes the file itself: trips and pages still using it show a broken image, and it can't be restored.

Trips, guides and places to stay can't be deleted for good from the bin. They stay there until you restore them. If your organisation is closed in Orbit, everything in Travel Orbit is erased with it. See [Traveller data and privacy](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/travel/everyone/traveller-data-and-privacy/).
