# Add your regions

> Add the regions your organisation works in, each with a time zone, so people can pick one at the top of Orbit.

A new organisation has no regions, and Orbit then shows no region picker. Add regions when your organisation works in more than one place and people need to switch between them.

## Add a region

1. Open your organisation and choose **Settings**.
2. Under **Regions**, choose **Add region**.
3. Pick one under **Start from** to fill everything in, or type your own:
   - **Name**, the way your people know it, such as *Germany* or *Nordics*.
   - **Address**, filled in from the name. Satellites use it to match their own regions, so use the same address there. It cannot be changed later.
   - **Time zone**, used for times shown in that region.
4. Choose **Add region**.

## Change or remove a region

Open the menu on the region's row:

- **Edit** changes the name or time zone.
- **Remove** hides it from the picker. Nothing in the satellites is deleted, and adding it back with the same address restores it.

## Matching satellites

Satellites keep their own regions. In CMS Orbit, regions are set per space under **Configuration › Environments**. When a person picks a region at the top of Orbit, satellites show the region with the same address.

## What your plan allows

Orbit has no limit on regions. CMS Orbit's plan sets how many regions its websites can use: Starter includes 1 and Growth 5. A region used by several websites counts once. See [Plans and billing](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/orbit/admins/plans-and-billing/).

Someone in several organisations sees every region those organisations have added, once each.
