# Shop access

> Choose which shops each Editor and Viewer works in. Owners and admins always work in every shop.

People get Commerce Orbit from your organisation in Orbit, under **Members**. Their role in Commerce Orbit is the same in every shop they can open. Which shops they can open is chosen under **People**, on the Shops page.

## Choose someone's shops

1. Open **People** from the sidebar's **Organisation** section.
2. In the person's **Shops** column, open the menu.
3. Choose **Every shop, also new ones**, or tick the shops they should work in.

The column only shows when your organisation has more than one shop.

- **Every shop** is the default, and includes shops added later.
- Someone limited to some shops sees only those under **Shops**, in the sidebar menu and in Orbit's search. A link to another shop shows "not found".
- Owners and admins in Orbit are Admins in every shop. Their shops can't be limited.

## What still applies everywhere

The sending domain for emails is the organisation's, so it is the same in every shop. Notifications about a shop's orders, stock and MAM go only to people who work in that shop.
