# Show your products on your website

> Connect a website space in CMS Orbit, so editors can put products and collections on pages with blocks, with prices and stock that stay current by themselves.

If your organisation also builds its website in CMS Orbit, editors can show your products on any page. Products, prices and stock stay in Commerce Orbit; the website reads them when a page is shown, so it never shows an old price.

## Connect a website space

1. Set your **shop address** under **Settings**, if you haven't yet. Websites send shoppers there to buy.
2. Open **Orbit connections**. The CMS Orbit card lists your organisation's website spaces.
3. Switch on the space that should show your products, such as the Northwilds website. Switch it off to disconnect.

Editors in CMS Orbit can also connect it from the space's Orbit connections. Only people who may change the space in CMS Orbit can connect it. See [Orbit connections](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/commerce/everyone/orbit-connections/).

## What editors get

Four blocks in CMS Orbit's block library, under Commerce Orbit:

| Block | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| **Product card** | One product with its photo, price and stock, and a button to buy it. The heading and button text can be changed. |
| **Product grid** | Products the editor picks, or the products in a collection, up to 24 (8 unless they choose). With a heading and an introduction. |
| **Add to cart button** | A button that puts a product in the cart. It shows as sold out when nothing is left. |
| **Collection list** | Your active collections with their photo and how many products each has. |

Editors pick products and collections from a list with photos, prices and stock. Only active products and collections can be picked and shown. A product you archive or move to the bin shows as unavailable on the pages that use it, and comes back when you make it active again.

The website's own blocks can also have **Product**, **Products** and **Collection** fields, for developers who build their own designs.

## Buying from the website

**Add to cart** and the buttons on product cards open your hosted cart with the product in it, and the shopper checks out there. See [The hosted shop](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/commerce/everyone/hosted-shop/). For products with options, such as sizes, the button adds the first variant that is in stock; link to the product page when shoppers need to choose.

If your developers build the cart into the website itself, they use the storefront API instead. See [The storefront API](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/commerce/developers/storefront-api/).

## Languages and currencies

Pages show product text in the page's language where you have translated it, and prices in the currency of the page's region when you sell in it. Otherwise they use your main language and currency. See [Languages and currencies](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/commerce/everyone/languages-and-currencies/).

## Pages refresh by themselves

When a product becomes active or stops being active, when you change it while it is active, when its stock changes, or when you change a collection, Commerce Orbit tells CMS Orbit through Orbit Exchange. The website pages that show it refresh, usually within a minute. Stock changes from orders and from MAM syncs count too. Nothing has to be copied or published again.
