# Add a shop

> Add another shop to your organisation and set it up to sell, from its name and address to Stripe and its first product.

Admins can add a shop. Your plan decides how many: Starter has one, Growth three and Enterprise as many as you need.

1. Open **Shops**, from **All shops** in the sidebar or the menu at its top.
2. Select **Add a shop**.
3. Give it a name, such as **Northwilds Outlet**, and a short description your team sees on its card, such as "Last season's gear at lower prices".
4. Select **Add shop**. Commerce Orbit opens the new shop's **Shop settings**.

A new shop starts empty. Set it up as you did your first one:

- **Shop settings:** the shop address, currencies, languages, seller details and order prefix. The address must be different from your other shops'.
- **Payments:** connect the Stripe account this shop's money goes to. It can be the same account as another shop or a different one.
- **Shipping and taxes**, **Stock and locations** and your first products.

Then follow [Get started with Commerce Orbit](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/commerce/everyone/get-started/) from step 2.

## Who can open the new shop

Owners and admins can open every shop. Editors and Viewers who work in every shop can open it straight away. People limited to some shops can't, until an Admin adds it to their shops under **People**. See [Shop access](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/commerce/everyone/shop-access/).

## When the plan is full

When your organisation has as many shops as the plan includes, **Add a shop** says so. An owner can upgrade under **Billing** in Orbit, or you can move a shop you no longer use to the Bin from its **Shop settings**.
