# Use Commerce Orbit on your pages

> Connect the space to Commerce Orbit, then show products, collections and add to cart buttons with prices and stock that stay current.

When your organisation also has Commerce Orbit, this space can show your products on the website without copying them: you pick a product, and every visitor sees its current price and whether it is in stock.

## Connect the space

1. Open **Configuration › Orbit connections**.
2. Turn on the **Shop** on the **Commerce Orbit** card. You need permission to change the space's settings.

The card says which shop the space uses, such as the Northwilds shop. Connecting adds four blocks to the block library under **Commerce Orbit**, and Product, Products and Collection fields that developers can add to your own components. Admins can also connect a space from **Orbit connections** in Commerce Orbit.

Turning the connection off hides the blocks from editors. Pages that already show products keep them, but the products show as unavailable until you connect again. Nothing is deleted.

## The blocks

- **Product card:** one product, such as the Fjell GTX boot, with its photo, price and stock, and a button to add it to the cart. Leave **Heading** empty to use the product's name.
- **Product grid:** products you pick, such as the Tind 2 tent, the Rygg 45 pack and the Brann stove for a trip's kit list. Or pick a **Collection** instead, and the grid shows its products as they join and leave it. **How many** limits it.
- **Add to cart button:** puts one product in the cart on your shop. It shows as sold out when nothing is left.
- **Collection list:** every collection in your shop with its photo and number of products.

## Pick a product

Choose a product from the list. It shows each product on sale with its photo, price, stock and number of variants, and you can search by name. A product you picked that is no longer on sale, because it was archived or moved to the bin, is marked in amber and shows as unavailable on the website until you pick another. A product that is sold out is marked too, and stays on the page as sold out.

## Prices in your region's currency

A product shows its price in the currency of the page's region when the shop sells in it, such as kroner on a Norway region whose **Currency** is NOK, and in the shop's own currency otherwise. Set a region's currency under **Environments**.

## Always current

The page stores only which product or collection you picked. Prices and stock come from Commerce Orbit each time the website asks, kept for at most a minute, so you never have to update a page when a price changes. The preview always shows the latest. When a product's price, stock or details change in Commerce Orbit, or a collection changes, pages that show it are refreshed on the website straight away.

## See where a product is shown

In Commerce Orbit, a product's details show **On your website**: every page in a connected space that shows the product, live or draft, with a link that opens it here.
