# See how pages and campaigns do

> Visitors, sources, scroll depth, goals and Google searches for each page, visitors and conversions in lists, and views and clicks for banners and popups, with variants side by side, from Insights Orbit.

When your organisation has Insights Orbit and the space is connected to a site under **Configuration › Settings › Insights Orbit**, CMS Orbit shows how pages and campaigns do, for the last 30 days. Without Insights Orbit, none of this appears.

## Connect the space

Connect the space under **Configuration › Settings › Insights Orbit**, or from Insights Orbit: its **Sites** and **Add a site** pages list the organisation's websites in CMS Orbit that no site follows yet, and **Follow this website** adds a site with the space's name and the addresses of its live environment, then connects it here. Either way needs the Admin role in Insights Orbit and the right to change the space's settings. With the CMS Orbit SDK, the website then only needs `<CmsInsights />`, since every delivered page carries the site's key.

## In the page editor

Open a page and choose **Performance** above its fields:

- **Visitors**, **Visits** and **Page views**, with a line for visitors per day
- **Top sources**: where visits came from, such as Search or Social
- **How far people read**: the share of visits that scrolled a quarter, half, three quarters and all of the page
- **Found on Google for**: the top five Google searches that led to the page, with clicks and average position, when Google Search Console is connected in Insights Orbit
- **Goals reached in visits to this page**, for the goals set up in Insights Orbit

**Open in Insights Orbit** opens the full report for the page. When the website tags its page views with the page, the numbers follow the page when its address changes; otherwise they are counted by the address, and the panel says so.

## In lists

**Pages** and collections with an address show visitors for the last 30 days. When the site has goals in Insights Orbit, they also show conversions: the visits to each page that completed any goal. Sort by **Most visitors** or **Most conversions** to see what works and what nobody reads.

## Campaigns

Banners and popups show **Results** in their editor: **Views**, **Clicks**, the share clicked and the goals reached after a click, by the campaign's **Tracking label**. Their list has a **Views · clicks (30 days)** column, sorted by **Most clicks**. Landing pages show both their page numbers and their campaign results.

Give each campaign its own tracking label, such as `autumn-sale`, and keep it when you change the campaign, so its results stay together.

## Compare variants

To try two versions of a banner or popup against each other, give them the same **Campaign**, such as `Black Friday 2026`, and each its own **Tracking label**, such as `black-friday-a` and `black-friday-b`. **Results** then shows every popup and banner in the same campaign side by side, in the same region and language: views, clicks, the share clicked and the goals reached after a click. Select a variant's name to open it.

Under the table, a note says what the numbers can tell you:

- **Too few views and clicks to compare yet:** with small numbers, a difference is easily chance. Keep the variants running.
- **The difference could still be chance:** there are enough views to test, but the click rates are too close to say which is better at 95% confidence.
- **One variant is clicked more often:** the difference is unlikely to be chance, at 95% confidence.

The note compares click rates with a standard statistical test. It treats every view as a separate chance to click, while one person can see a banner on several pages, so read it as a guide. Variants with the same tracking label count as one, and a variant without a label shows no numbers.

Insights Orbit shows the same comparison under **Events** for every campaign with more than one variant in the space's live environment.

## Who sees it

Everyone with Insights Orbit in the organisation sees the numbers. People without it see the editor and lists as before.
