# Glossary

| Word | Means |
| --- | --- |
| **Organisation** | The company as a whole. Its people are managed in Bifröst Orbit; here it holds their roles and its spaces. |
| **Space** | One website and everything in it. |
| **Environment** | A copy of the space's content, such as Staging for trying things and Production for the live site. |
| **Region** | A country the website serves, with its own address prefix, time zone and currency, such as Germany. |
| **Locale** | A language in a region, such as de-DE. |
| **Content type** | A kind of entry, such as a page, an article or a banner, and the fields it has. |
| **Entry** | One item of a content type. Pages are entries that have an address. |
| **Component** | A block placed on a page, such as a hero or a button. |
| **Field** | One value on an entry or a component, such as a heading or an image. |
| **Draft** | The version you are editing. |
| **Published** | The version the website shows. |
| **Review** | A request for approval of one exact version of a page. |
| **Sign-off** | One step in a review, such as Product safety or Legal. |
| **Release** | A set of changes that go live together. |
| **Redirect** | A rule that sends an old address to a new one. |
| **Claim** | Approved wording about safety or performance, reused across pages. |
| **Delivery API** | What the website reads content from. |
| **Orbit** | The employee platform; CMS Orbit is one app inside it. |
