# Copy a page to another region or language

> Make a linked copy, keep regional values such as prices, and pull later changes from the source.

## Copy

1. Open the page, then **Copy to** from the page's menu or the page list.
2. Choose the environment, region and language to copy into.
3. Choose whether to copy the images too.

The copy is a draft, linked to its source. Translate or adapt it, then publish it there.

## Regional values

Fields marked as regional, such as a price or a shop, keep the copy's own value when it is updated from the source. Approved claims are held by key, so each region shows its own approved wording. See [Use approved claims and disclaimers](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/cms/editors/claims/).

## Update from the source

When the source changes, the copy's **Other regions** section says it is behind. Choose **Update from source** to bring the changes in. Regional values stay as they are.

## Machine translation

In a space with more than one language, text fields offer a translation suggestion in the page's language. Always read it before using it. An administrator can turn it off under **Offer machine translation** in [Space settings](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/cms/editors/space-settings/).

### Monthly translation allowance

Each plan includes a number of characters of machine translation a month, counted across the whole organisation:

| Plan | Characters a month |
| --- | --- |
| Starter | 50,000 |
| Growth | 500,000 |
| Enterprise | No limit |

Every character of the text you send counts, including the formatting of rich text. The translation suggestion shows how much is used, for example "12,400 of 50,000 characters translated this month on your Starter plan".

When a translation needs more characters than are left, it is refused and the message says how many are left. Try a shorter piece of text, or wait for the count to start again on the 1st of the month. Once everything is used, the translate button is greyed out until then. An owner can upgrade under Billing in Orbit for more.
