# Restore something deleted

> Deleting moves things to the bin, where they can be brought back. Erasing for good is for the Owner.

Deleting a page, entry, file or space never erases it straight away. It moves to the bin. You can delete several pages or entries at once by ticking them in their list.

Two things are deleted for good instead, and only by Administrators and Owners: releases, and claims that no page uses. Archive a claim if you may want it back.

## Restore

Open **Library › Bin**, find the item and choose **Restore**. A page comes back as a draft at its old address if that is still free; otherwise you are asked for another.

## Erase for good

Only the Owner can erase things permanently, from the organisation's bin. Erasing cannot be undone and is recorded in the audit trail.

A space can empty its bin by itself after 30, 60 or 90 days, set under **Bin and time** in the space settings. See [Space settings](https://docs.bifrostorbit.com/cms/editors/space-settings/).
