# The waitlist

> When no time suits, customers can wait for one to free up. The first in line is offered it by email and the time is held for them.

When none of the free times suits a customer, they can choose **Join the waitlist** on the booking page, with the earliest and latest day that would work and, if they chose one, the person they want.

When a time in that window frees up, because someone cancels or moves their appointment, Booking Orbit:

1. finds who joined the waitlist first for that service and window;
2. holds the time for them for 2 hours, so nobody else can take it;
3. emails them a link to book it in a few clicks.

If they don't book it in time, the hold ends and the next person in line is offered it.

## See who's waiting

Under **Booking page**, choose **Waitlist**. **Waiting** shows everyone still waiting or with a time offered; **Everything** also shows who booked, whose offer ran out and who was removed. Choose **Remove** to take someone off.

To turn the waitlist off, switch off **Waitlist** on the **Booking page**.
