# People and the locations they can open

> Choose each person's role in Booking Orbit, and whether they can open every location or only some.

People get Booking Orbit from your organisation in Orbit, under Members. Under **People** in Booking Orbit, admins choose what each of them can do and where.

## Roles

- **Viewer** sees appointments, customers and reports, and changes nothing.
- **Editor** also books, moves and cancels appointments, and looks after services, staff and availability.
- **Admin** also changes settings, payments, email sending and API keys, and chooses roles.

Owners and admins in Orbit are always Admins in Booking Orbit, with every location.

## Locations

Next to each Editor or Viewer, choose **Every location, also new ones**, or tick the locations they can open. The manager of the Bergen shop, for example, only needs Northwilds Bergen.

Someone with no locations ticked sees an empty Locations page until an admin gives them one.
