# Locations

> A location is a place or an online desk of its own, with its own services, staff, opening hours, customers, booking page and payments. Add, change, bin and restore them.

Booking Orbit opens on **Locations**: a card for every location you can open, with today's appointments and how many are still to come.

## Add a location

1. On **Locations**, choose **Add a location**.
2. Give it a name, such as Northwilds Bergen, and choose **At a place** or **Online only**.
3. Booking Orbit opens the new location's **Settings**. Add the address, the time zone, the currency, a logo and a cover image.

A new location starts empty. Add its services and staff, check its opening hours under **Availability**, and share its booking page.

Your plan sets how many locations you can have: Starter has 1, Growth 3 and Enterprise as many as you need. When the plan is full, the **Add a location** card says so and links to Billing in Orbit.

## Online locations

An online-only location has no address. Its services take place as video calls, with a Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom link in the confirmation, once a calendar is connected under **Calendars and meetings**.

## Move a location to the Bin

At the end of a location's **Settings**, choose **Move to the Bin**. A location with appointments still to come can't be binned: cancel or move them first.

A location in the Bin keeps everything, its booking page stops taking appointments and it stops counting towards your plan. Admins restore it from the organisation's **Bin**. Only owners can delete it for good, which removes its services, staff, appointments, customers and images.
